Around 9PM this Sunday, I’ll be playing some vinyl on at INWOOD LOUNGE adjacent to the INWOOD THEATER in University Park. MILFS out on prowl at this spot too. They will have cheap drink prices too. One of the best bars in America?

A martini lounge in a 1947 movie house, the Inwood smells like gin, smoke, and warmed-up celluloid. And fresh popcorn. And although the key-shaped bar is the most inviting in the city, the best place to drink is at one of the tables next to the silent curtain of water falling down the wall

Bio: Edie Sedgwick is the transgendered reincarnation of a vacuous Andy Warhol Superstar who died of a barbiturate overdose in 1971. A visionary artist who lay dormant in her host organism until his first epileptic seizure in 2001, Edie appeared at the dawn of the New Millenium to save the world by singing, writing, and producing video about celebrities. Armed with a video projector and an occasional backing band, Edie travels through the dark American night presenting auditory and visual art that honors the likes of Sissy Spacek, Martin Sheen, and other celebrity co-conspirators.
If smarter, edgier, more ridiculous, more serious, more compelling art has been made, is being made, or will ever be made, Edie is not aware of it. Her new album, Things are Getting Sinister and Sinisterer, was released by Washington, D.C.’s Dischord Records in 2008.

Detroit’s TERRIBLE TWOS have broken up; which means they are canceling the entire forthcoming tour. I think “remaining members” indicates one or two dudes bolted.
